Enforcement

The Enforcement Division is tasked with enforcing the Illinois Liquor Control Act. The Enforcement Division inspects all licensed liquor establishments doing business across the State.  The Enforcement Division also investigates complaints received from a variety of sources regarding alleged violations of the Illinois Liquor Control Act. The Enforcement Division performs periodic compliance checks working closely with our Federal, State, and local law enforcement partners. The Enforcement Division is also responsible for conducting Underage Compliance checks throughout the State, testing retail establishments who sell liquor on their duty to perform proper ID checks.
